Make a QR code for your link
Shorten a URL, open the QR code in the result and download the SVG. The vector file can be placed in a menu, poster or printed handout.
The code points to your short URL
A phone reads the CUTIX short address from the code. Opening it redirects to the saved destination, just as clicking the link would.
For a link in your account, changing the destination does not change its QR code. Keep the short link active for the code to keep working.
Test the finished print size
Use a contrasting background and leave clear space around the code. Test it with a phone camera at the actual size of the printed design.
Follow the scanned link to confirm the destination. Do not delete a link while its printed code is still in use: someone else can claim a released alias.
Scanning and click reports
Viewing or downloading the QR image does not count as a visit. A click is recorded when the short link is opened, including repeated opens. The report is not a count of unique people who saw the code.
